I purchased one of these because I was doing some extensive remodeling. While the unit works its not very acurate in locating studs. I get better results with one of those little $15 units. As for detecting electrical wires its too sensitive. Its allways indicating a wire. It has major problems when it scans a double stud. I returned the unit and purchases one of those 4 in one $39 units and it works much better.See all 2 customer reviews...
