I am also a Lineman here in Vancouver, BC. I bought this as a back-up for our hydraulic impacts and also for when you don't have access to the truck (ground work or on the pole). I'm pretty happy with it but for heavy torque applications, drilling through poles in particular, it seems to kill the batteries extremely quickly and the speed isn't exactly lightning quick. A sharp bit and extra batteries are recommended. Also, the batteries do fade despite, from what I have heard, Li-ion not supposed to do this. For one hole, okay, more than that I'd still break out the gas drill. For bolt tightening and loosening it is great, better for ...
